Ms. Codada is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Molloy College with a Master’s in Nursing. She comes from a culture where mental health is misunderstood. She understands that mental health affects the physical, mental, and social aspects of life. She prides herself in supporting her patients to the best she can while aiming to enhance their quality of life. She believes in coping skills using both non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatments and is warm, open-minded, and compassionate. She sees patients ages 16 to 65 and treats a number of conditions such as disorders that include trauma, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. She applies mindfulness-based techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy amongst other modalities over the course of practice.
